Procedure

Prepare phase A and phase B. Heat them separately to 75-80°C. Add phase B to phase A. Homogenize for a few minutes using a suitable dispersion unit (e.g., Silverson, Ultra-Turrax). Cool to room temperature under gentle stirring. Add phase C and homogenize at low speed. Add phase D and homogenize at low speed. Adjust pH to 6.5–7.0 with E.

Properties

(25°C): Appearance—White cream; Viscosity—11,000–14,000 mPa∙s (10 rpm, Brk, RVDV-E, T-B, after 24 hours at room temperature); pH—6.5–7.0.
